Material Cost and Calculations

When calculating Gravel and Topsoil have different weights depending on their volume or yards because they have different densities. Topsoil’s weight can change depending on its moisture level, but usually we assume it’s not wet. Deliveries of these materials are determined by weight in tons.

However using the calculator below you can get both yards and tons however LandWorks Services sells it by the ton.

Select the Gravel Pit closest to you, Select either TONS or IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE SIZE, enter dimesions of the area, Length, Width and Depth in Inches to get the cubic yards and tons.  If you want delivery, make sure you enter your delivery address.  If you enter your email it will also email you the quote.
